- 1/4 cup (60g) brown sugar

- 2 tablespoons (30g) smoked paprika

- 2 tablespoons (30g) chili powder

- 1 tablespoon (15g) ground cumin

- 1 tablespoon (15g) salt

- 1 tablespoon (15g) black pepper

- 1 tablespoon (15g) garlic powder

- 1 tablespoon (15g) onion powder

- 1 cup (240ml) BBQ sauce

- 1 cup (240ml) beer (optional)

- 2 tablespoons (30g) apple cider vinegar

- 2 tablespoons (30g) olive oil

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

2. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and coat evenly with the dry rub.

4. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours.

5. While the ribs are baking, mix together BBQ sauce, beer (if using), apple cider vinegar, and olive oil in a small saucepan.

6. After the ribs have baked for 2 hours, brush them with the BBQ sauce mixture and return to the oven for an additional 30 minutes.

7. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Note: You can also grill the ribs on a charcoal or gas grill for an additional 30 minutes to 1 hour after baking, for a crispy exterior and caramelized BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
